Head of Reward jobs

​A skilled and experienced Head of Reward will focus on the implementation and design of long-term incentive schemes for compensation programmes. The Head of Reward will be responsible for benchmarking market data in order to develop long-term strategies for your company. You will be responsible for working closely with both national and international locations, offering area expertise advise where necessary. 

Head of Reward Job Duties:

The role of Head of Reward will work to manage the rewards team, creating a clear set of goals that are in line with the company's objectives, and implementing change where necessary. As well as this responsibility, you can expect your duties to include the following: 

  • Leading, training and developing the rewards team, creating goals for the team to work towards and implementing change or giving review on progress when necessary. 
  • Design, implement and manage elements of executive compensation and assist with the creation of incentive plans. 
  • Work on multiple projects related to legal and tax matters.
  • Offer advice and assistance to both national and international clients regarding reward matters. 
  • Design and manage international equity plan projects. 
  • As Head of Rewards, you will review current policies and implement improvements where necessary. 
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of employment law, particularly the pay and benefits sector. 

Key skills and qualifications of a Head of Reward:

The following skills will be beneficial to a candidate looking to apply for this role:

  • Ideally, you will be educated to degree level, with law or economics being preferred. 
  • Intensive experience in a leading reward role in an international environment is beneficial for this role. 
  • Confident communication skills are essential, and multi-lingual language skills 
  • Experience in leading a team is essential. 
  • Being able and enjoying working in a culturally diverse environment is beneficial for this role. 
  • Experience in dealing with pension plans would be advantageous for this role.
