Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive there are many opportunities to progress within the Domestic Removals industry and the HR Global Mobility & Relocations sector. The Sales Executive is ultimately required to maximise all business opportunities on behalf of the company.

By liaising with customers, current and potential, and other departments within the Domestic Removals industry, the Sales Executive takes all worthwhile opportunities to expand business. A Sales Executive would promote all services that the company could offer and would follow up any leads to sourcing new clients.

  • The Sales Executive is responsible for developing sales targets and strategies with the help of the sales team, and then overseeing that these targets are met.
  • You must report to the Sales Area Manager with all progress, keeping them updated on the progress of the staff and the completion of sales targets.
  • A Sales Executive must use their initiative to source new clients. This includes following leads, visiting potential clients and giving sales presentations.
  • The Sales Executive must attend any conferences and functions where the promotion of the company’s services is possible, and they must prepare and give sales presentations.
  • You must give accurate advice to potential and current customers regarding the services available, offering a range of moving solutions appropriate to the client.
  • A Sales Executive assists the composing of all Sales and Marketing material.

Key skills and qualifications of a Sales Executive:

  • You may be required to hold qualifications relating to Sales.
  • A Sales Executive must have strong man-managing skills, able to efficiently manage a team and liaise with other operations teams.
  • The Sales Executive must also have good customer services skills to deal day-to-day with all enquiries and cultivate relationships with future clients.
  • You must also have good communication skills as much of the job involves presentations, conferences and other sales pitches.
  • The Sales Executive must be able to work under pressure and efficiently within time constraints.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office any other standard software related to Sales and Marketing.
