A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced International Moving professional, to join a developing Moving & Relocation provider in London.

You will be responsible for leading the International Household Goods Moving service division, with a focus on both Corporate and Private business.

Job Purpose:

  • To lead and oversee the service delivery function for the Corporate & Private Household Goods Moving function
  • To ensure business objectives are achieved, ensuring client satisfaction on a range of global moving and relocation services received
  • To be responsible for staff management, client service delivery, process management, account management and business development

Responsibilities of the Corporate & Private Moving, Client Service Director:

  • Manage a team of household goods moving staff providing ongoing training, guidance and support
  • Consistently deliver a quality service to clients and customers, ensuring that key objectives are achieved
  • Ensure that the team work within company guidelines and policies and comply to best practice
  • Build and develop a successful service delivery function, for household goods moving services that meets and exceeds business objectives
  • Promote the business brand to external clients and competitors in the moving and relocation space
  • Allocate caseload, to ensure a fair distribution of workload across the team
  • Aim to improve productivity, efficiency and speed by streamlining processes
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service through the service delivery model
  • Monitoring KPI's in line with objectives
  • Ensure that systems are utilised to their best potential
  • Utilise costing data to influence pricing, while ensuring that conversion ratios are maintained
  • Grow profitability and ensure budgets are met
  • Utilise systems to monitor profitability by service, customer and product line
  • Support the sales and business development team by sharing knowledge of the relocation and moving industry
  • Proactively recommend initiatives to improve customer satisfaction
  • Share client information with the account management team as appropriate
  • Attended client meetings as required
  • Produce accurate and timely reports

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A senior professional with years of experience working in the Global Moving and Relocation sector
  • Knowledge of the corporate and private moving sector in UK and Europe
  • Previous staff management and leadership experience
  • Client facing experience in a client account management or client services role
  • Motivated and driven, with a passion for supporting and developing others
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Dedication to delivering excellent service delivery to clients
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience managing a P&L and reporting
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Performance management experience, setting and measuring targets for the team
  • Highly knowledgeable on the Relocation sector and changes to the industry
  • Decision-making skills
