Job Summary

Our client, a leading Auction House, are seeking to hire a Registrar to join their London team.

The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the safe handling and transportation of fine artwork and antiques
  • Complete full condition reports on each individual artwork according to original documentation
  • Working closely with the shipping and logistics team
  • Handle daily inventory ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed
  • Maintain good communication with internal teams and external shipping agents to ensure the safe transportation of goods

The key skills that are required are as follows:

  • Previous art handling and installation experience is essential
  • A self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
  • Ability to liaise with both internal teams and external clients
  • Fully comprehensive with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You may be required to work weekends
