Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team of a globally recognised art organisation, based in Chicago.

As the Account Manager you will:

  • Manage the complete shipping process of fine art and antiques from beginning to end, including imports, exports and customs procedures
  • Provide each individual client with updates throughout the process of their shipment
  • Build upon relationships with the existing client base and regularly network amongst industry professionals to create new business
  • Providing estimates for the cost of art transportation, negotiating with different providers to guarantee clients are receiving the most time and cost-effective service
  • Process invoices, notifying clients of payments in advance of shipments
  • First point of contact for client queries and shipping requests

Desired skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working within a Fine Art Shipping or Logistics company in a similar position is essential
  • A keen understanding of shipping and transport documentation
  • Experience within a client service position is vital
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to manage a busy schedule
