We are partnering with a Global Manufacturing organisation looking for a Trade and Customs Analyst to join their team in Newark-on-Trent.

The company offer occasional European travel and a highly competitive salary/benefits package is on offer for the successful applicant.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Analyse all Import and Export trade data
  • Maintain company KPIs
  • Analyse all Import and Export volumes and duty spend
  • Produce KPIs for the International Trade department
  • Maintain and improve data quality
  • Analyse and maintain accurate trade data
  • Propose solutions
  • Lead improvement project for data integrity
  • Support Customs and Compliance specialist in continuous projects and improvement on the trade quality
  • Partner with other functions to improve Trade and Compliance processes

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree preferable, NVQ as a minimum
  • Experience in Customs and Trade compliance
  • Knowledge in Customs classification
  • High level of analytical ability, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong financial awareness and analytical ability
