Business Development Director, Furniture Rental

A leading provider of high-end furniture rental services is looking for a talented Business Development professional to join their team in New York City.

The Business Development Director, Furniture Rental will take charge of developing relationships and promoting the companies furniture rental services and high-end inventory to the New York Real Estate market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the company's furniture rental client base, targeting real estate agents, property developers and builders as potential clients or for referrals
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure maximum revenue is generated from client accounts
  • Handle inbound enquires regarding the company's furniture rental services
  • Act as ambassador for the company at networking events, trade association meetings and real estate broker sales meetings
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports for clients
  • Lead sales presentations to potential clients
  • Coordinate home staging services for direct furniture rental clients

Requirements

  • Business to business sales and account management experience is a requirement
  • A background in home staging, interior design or high-end furniture rental is a real plus
  • Ability to travel for client meetings is essential
