Job Summary

An opportunity is now available for a Director, Revenue Management to be based in New York.

The Director, Revenue Management will manage the Revenue Department and staff that are responsible for increasing revenue across an assigned portfolio of serviced apartment buildings.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Revenue teams maximize room revenue and meet / exceed goals
  • Design and implement action plans to drive revenue and increase performance
  • Work closely with the senior management team
  • Hold regular meetings with other departments to review performance of properties
  • Execute revenue management and strategy projects
  • Review apartment / room pricing in respect of competitors, demand and key events in the local area
  • Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine as required to increase market share for all properties
  • Compiles revenue management strategy report agenda to support strategy meetings and analyze key drivers to market share performance
  • Forecast revenue performance
  • Develop pricing strategy for each market and building
  • Analyze booking patterns and market trends

Key requirements:

  • 8+ years Revenue Management experience ideally gained within the Property, Real Estate or Hospitality industries
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven track record increasing revenue for hotels / apartments
  • In depth knowledge of revenue management and pricing
  • Bachelor degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret data
  • Strong leadership qualities, must have managed a team
