Job Summary

Alchemy is currently partnering with a globally renowned Relocation Management organisation in their search to find an established Sales and Business Development Professional for an exciting Vice President of Business Development opportunity.

This position will be directly responsible for hunting and generating new corporate business throughout the designated territory of the East Coast.

You will sell full suite Assignment Management & Relocation solutions including but not limited to; International Mobility, Domestic Relocation, US Domestic Home Sale, Global Compensation, Expat Tax, Destination Services and Move Management.

  • We are looking for a hungry and energetic professional who is passionate about the global mobility and relocation services sector
  • You will need to be an accomplished sales hunter, who has successfully generated substantial business revenue through sales success
  • A methodological thinker who can recognise and adapt their sales strategy for optimum results

Duties:

  • Prospecting new client accounts and selling new services to existing client accounts within the assigned territory
  • Building strong sales pipelines through the means of business development techniques such as; cold calling, networking and referrals
  • Networking for new business at global mobility, HR and relocation industry conferences, networking events and at client meetings
  • Researching and identifying prospective clients from an active network and generate these into business leads
  • Hunting new corporate business leads via research and networking, turning these leads into new clients accounts
  • Strategically building new business using key industry research and knowledge of the assignment services and relocation sector
  • Establishing long term relationships with clients by valuing and understanding their business needs and drivers, and applying the appropriate solution to address them
  • Maintaining an extensive knowledge of services, to consult with clients and propose global relocation solutions that will best meet their objectives
  • Continuously research key decision-makers within international organisations to approach as a prospective new client
  • Partner with the sales and business development team to negotiate relocation service agreement terms and service fees with new clients

Requirements

  • Ideally 5 years + sales, business development and/or account management experience in the Relocation industry
  • Strong knowledge of services across the global mobility and relocation services sector
  • Ability to identify key players in the global relocation sector whilst maintaining knowledge of industry trends and changes
  • A proven track record and ability to manage successful, profitable client relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time for business development efforts
  • Strong presentation skills (written and verbal) with the ability to command an audience
  • Experience contributing, developing and executing strategic plans and leading initiatives to achieve business results
  • Hunger for sales success with a proven track record of closing deals
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • CRP and GMS certification is preferred, along with a college degree (BA or BS) or equivalent years of experience
