Job Summary

Mobility - Assignment Manager (Temporary 12 Month Fixed Term)

Our client, a leading provider in international relocation services requires a Temporary Assignment Manager, for their Mobility Team in London on a 12-month FTC.

Responsibilities include;

  • Interaction with Talent Advisors, managers and other stakeholders regarding moves, policy advice, immigration and international tax issues
  • Request, review and issue relocation and expatriate cost estimates to the business
  • Counselling transferring employees on policy and processes
  • Management of queries and exception requests, including responding to employees/managers directly, forwarding to vendors and escalating queries as appropriate
  • Working with internal Tax teams and external vendors on a variety of international tax and social security matters (e.g., dual contracts, shadow payroll, cross-border social security considerations etc.)
  • Responsible for issuing and tracking mobility-related documentation on a regional basis. This includes but is not limited to assignment memos, repatriation documentation, localisation memos, transfer and departure documentation
  • Responsible for data integrity for assignee records in EMEA
  • Interaction with Relocation Co-ordinators on data entry for various assignment calculations
  • Review monthly payroll instructions
  • Interaction with vendors providing a range of mobility-related services
  • Working with other teams within Mobility, HR and other departments both regionally and globally
  • Participation in ad hoc projects

Experience/skills required;

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail – an ability to review data, detect and correct errors, take responsibility for data quality
  • Client service focus, responsiveness and a "can-do" open-minded attitude
  • Strong organisational skills, proactive approach
  • Good communication and relationship management skills
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Good judgement – knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexible
  • Familiar with operating as part of a global team
  • Enthusiastic, positive and keen to learn and develop
  • Strong Excel skills preferred
  • Experience in the mobility field is essential, with tax technical experience preferred
