Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Consultant to join a fast-developing global mobility and immigration team.

You will be responsible for providing corporate immigration advice as well as managing the visa application process on behalf of clients.

This role will join a fast-developing Relocation company, with a fresh and modern work environment and culture.

Duties of the Immigration Consultant include:

  • Regularly liaising with the visa and immigration team in the German office, to provide on-going support to the Immigration department
  • Managing EU notifications and A1 certificate on time to ensure these are complete ahead of the required time frame of travel
  • Handling up to visa 20 authorisations per day and organisation the action date to comply with their travel date
  • Ensure that visa documentation is completed and issued ahead of due travel to ensure there is time for client sign off and processing
  • Consulting on EU Notifications and visa regulations
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of the visa and immigration process to ensure compliance
  • Communicating with clients and colleagues fluently in English, German and Romanian
  • Learning to become a subject matter expert on matters relating to visa and work permit procedures
  • Communicating with authorities, consulates and embassies regarding visa and immigration procedures
  • Handling immigration case files and recording all data on the internal system
  • Liaising with destination service providers and other third-party vendors as required
  • Coordinating the visa and immigration application process from start to finish

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the global mobility, relocation, visa and/or immigration sector is preferred
  • Strong understanding of visa and work permit application processes
  • Good knowledge of EU immigration law and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of international immigration and/or German inbound immigration
  • Fluency in English, Romanian & German is preferred
