Job Summary

We are actively seeking a sales and business development expert in government housing and accommodations to join our client a corporate housing and furnished apartment provider.

The successful applicant will have an existing network of business and will have the ability to successfully generate Government Agency leads into qualified business opportunities.

This position can be worked remotely from any US location.

Responsibilities for the Government Housing Business Developer:

  • Sell temporary accommodation solutions across the USA to government agencies and government contractors
  • Accountability to the complete business development process from prospecting, qualifying, value demonstration, and deal closure
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Maintaining an active prospect network across the government housing sector
  • Participate in government RFP’s, RFI’s and other general sales presentations
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned annual sales revenue goals
  • Negotiate agreements with government agencies and government contractors
  • Utilize knowledge of the local market to target key decision-makers
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals and targets
  • Managing client accounts to maximise profitability

Requirements for the Government Housing Business Developer:
  • Must have an existing network of Government accounts that can be leveraged for new business opportunities
  • Strong B2B sales hunter with proven sales success in close deals
  • Experience selling temporary accommodation solutions to government agencies and government contractors
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Must have a proven track record meeting and exceeding set goals and targets
  • Ability to deliver presentations to key stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
