Job Summary

Alchemy is partnering with a global relocation service provider in their search for an experienced Business Development Manager in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

This position will join an existing sales and business development team, acting as an experienced sales developer successfully identifying and winning new corporate client business.

The Business Development Manager will target US based multi-national organisations to sell a variety of global mobility and relocation services.

Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Actively hunt and develop new clients, building new relationships and maintaining existing ones throughout the customer life cycle
  • Successfully create and deliver sales and business pitches to prospect clients, ensuring that you cross and up-sell whenever possible
  • Target decision-makers from HR, global Mobility Managers through to C-Suite, successfully identifying those responsible for employee relocation
  • Building a portfolio of prospect clients, maintaining awareness of their current needs and future relocation needs 
  • Serving as a brand ambassador, representing the company at relocation, global mobility and HR industry conferences, awards and networking events
  • Work with internal team to ensure that you have a full understanding of the services offered and the relocation life cycle
  • Utilize a range of sales and business development techniques including cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach plans to business organizations or directly to the business
  • Successfully maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure full working efficiency
  • Use your strong client and vendor relationships to ensure that the transition and onboarding process is smooth, efficient, and as successful as possible
  • Staying up to date on market trends within the global mobility and relocation sector
  • Ensure that the internal CRM is kept updated with all new leads and business prospects
  • Continuously aim to meet and exceed sales targets set by the business

Experience required:

  • Sales and business development experience within global mobility and relocation services
  • Good knowledge of the relocation and/or expatriate service sector 
  • Proven track record of B2B sales success
  • Ability to build a strategic pipeline of prospect clients 
  • A results-driven individual with drive, determination, energy and motivation
  • Strong sales closing skills with the ability to persuade, research and plan
  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or at least 4 years relocation services sales experience
  • CRP/GMS designation would be advantageous
  • The estimated travel for this position is 40-60%, primarily US Domestic
