Alchemy are working with an Auction House who are seeking to hire a Philatelic Specialist.
The main responsibilities include:

- Carry out stamp valuations and identification.
- Design and produce catalogues for all stamp sales.
- Continually seeking new clients and regularly reaching out to existing ones.
- Attending and assisting at national and international exhibitions to gain awareness of the philately industry and competitors.
- Keeping in contact with philatelist specialists to encourage continued business.
Skills:
- Genuine interest and good knowledge of philately/stamps.
- Previous experience working in an Auction House.
- Valuation skills with strong market and trend awareness.
- Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Must be available to travel due to the demands of the role.
- Demonstrable portfolio/network of industry philatelist contacts.
