Partnering globally with life science organisations, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, patient foundations and academic institutes; our client delivers a high-quality service enabling their partners to save both time and resources.

Our Client is seeking to employ an experienced Senior Account Manager / Business Developer to join their friendly innovative team.

As Senior Account Manager / Business Developer you will be selling a range of services including drug discovery services for medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, biochemical assay development, cell biology, DMPK analysis etc

You will be responsible for the full 360 sales process: prospecting for potential clients, initial calling, visiting & presenting, securing contracts and managing and developing the account. You will be adept at forging and developing strong relationships with clients with the view to secure and develop long term business opportunities.

Essential requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a biotechnology research company or similar environment.
  • A proven track record of success within a sales/ business development role.
  • The ability to develop strong Client relationships
  • Up to date market knowledge and keen interest in innovations within research/technology.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
