Senior Account Manager / Business Developer

Our Client, a Biotechnology consultancy and developer of molecular testing kits is seeking a Senior Account Manager / Business Developer.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new, innovative company in a key role.

As Senior Account Manager / Business Developer you will be selling a range of molecular testing kits and consultancy services to Clients both in the UK and Internationally.

You will be responsible for the full 360 sales process: prospecting for potential clients, initial calling, visiting & presenting, securing contracts and managing and developing the account.

Experience Requirements:

You will be adept at forging and developing strong relationships with clients with the view to secure and develop long term business opportunities.

At least 3 years’ experience within a biotechnology research, pharmaceutical company or similar environment.

A proven track record of success within a sales/ business development role ideally with experience of selling Internationally.

The ability to develop strong Client relationships.

Previous experience in a management role is desirable.

Up to date market knowledge and keen interest in innovations within research/technology.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
