Commercial Moving Business Developer/Sales Representative

Our client a moving specialist based in the Utah area is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Developer who can develop commercial moving accounts in the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching the market area identifying potential selling opportunities and evaluation of customers needs
  • Generation of new sales opportunities through active cold calling, industry events, social media and networking
  • Setting up and meeting with potential client to find out their needs, wishes and concerns
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations on products and services the company provide
  • Work with the sales leadership team and local operations to optimize pricing and solutions
  • Frequently creating reports and reviews with sales and financial data
  • Meet and exceed targets and revenue production
  • The utilization of the CRM system and manage sales cycle
  • Attending company conferences
  • Negotiate and close moves, handling complaints or objections
Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales B2B experience
  • Ideally coming from the commercial moving sector with a van line network
  • The client will consider a commercial sales person who works in an aligning industry i.e. FF&E, Commercial Interiors and Furniture where you have sold to business's and presented at the highest level
  • Excellent knowledge of all MS Office applications
  • Complete understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Financial acumen with solid understanding of P & L principles and pricing
  • Ability to build long term business relationships
  • Solid understanding of the business culture in Salt Lake City
