Job Summary

Alchemy are partnering exclusively with a highly successful and fast-developing US-based relocation business, in their search for a Commercial Moving & Relocation Representative.

This position is based in the mid-west, therefore, may require US domestic relocation (some relocation support may be provided)

Key duties of the Commercial Moving & Relocation Representative:

  • Responsible for both customer services and sales of Commercial Office Relocation services
  • You will participate in client meetings to fully determine the scope of the project
  • The ideal professional will have strong numerical skills and will understand gross profit models
  • Foster and develop client relationships and identify up-selling opportunities
  • Advise clients on services and share product information
  • Brief clients on relocation project scope, manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction at all times
  • Present estimates, quotes and negotiate projects costs to maximize overall return on investment
  • Utilize the companies CRM system and database to manage the client leads
  • Identify project labor and timeframe requirements and obtain precise inventory counts and product specifications
  • Maintain cost database by entering and backing up relevant data
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by obtaining photos for advertising
  • Serving as a brand ambassador

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in the Commercial Moving and Relocation and/or Furniture Sales industry
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous sales and customer services experience with a desire to pursue a successful career in the Commercial Relocation sector
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to form trusted partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills using MS Office Suite and experience utilizing a CRM system (ideally NetSuite) would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of financials as well as Gross Profit models
  • Proven success liaising with customers, generating and closing sales
  • Highly organised with excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Previous Commercial Moving and Relocation or the Furniture Sales industry experience is essential.
