Our client, a freight forwarder based in the Heathrow Area, are looking for a motivated individual to join the team as Operations Support Administrator

Duties of the role include:

  • Ensuring all shipping documentation is downloaded.
  • Preparing files based on the pre-alert information and documents
  • Effective communication between customers and colleagues to obtain correct clearance and delivery instructions
  • Arrange delivery of goods through Shipping Line or Haulier
  • There will be a requirement dealing with regulated bodies such as port health, plant health on the phone and email and will also be dealing with day to day courier, etc

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate and sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Forward thinking with a keen eye for detail
  • Practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations
