Job Summary

A new opportunity is available for a Business Development Manager to join our client in Beijing, China.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling corporate relocation and global mobility solutions, focusing on new client business.

Key duties of the role include;

  • Following new business leads to increase customer base and generate new revenue for the Relocation and Global Mobility services
  • Utilizing your knowledge and experience within the International Assignment Services and Logistics sector
  • Providing consultative advice, best practice and industry updates to your client network
  • Delivering sales presentations and precise documentation for Global Assignment Management, HR, Relocation, Global Mobility and Logistics
  • Meeting and exceeding revenue targets, new appointment targets and KPI’s
  • Reporting weekly sales and business development efforts to the Sales Director sharing sales targets, pipeline data, RFIs and sales call information
  • Efficient diary management, attending company sales meetings and relocation / HR networking events as required

Key experience required:

  • Business Development experience within Global Mobility, Relocation, Expatriate Management, Logistics or Destination Services
  • Business-to-business sales experience with proven success selling to corporate companies
  • Strong communication skills both over the phone, via email and in-person for sales presentations
  • A results-driven individual with drive, determination, energy and motivation
  • Strong sales closing skills with the ability to persuade, research and plan
  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • A consultative solutions-based approach in selling
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
