Shipping and Customs Coordinator

Job Summary

We are partnering with a Specialist Freight Forwarder seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team based in Felixstowe.

Responsibilities;

• Completing Import customs entries from start to finish
• Preparing customs documentation for Imports
• Working closely with Customs departments
• Completing documentation for all modes of transport 
• Applying for Import licenses
• Providing guidance to customers with tariff classification requirements
• Use Multifreight to reference shipping jobs
• Receive shipment notifications and customs documents
• Update shipping tracking schedules where necessary
• Use customs systems such as Destin8 and CNS

Skills Required;

• Customs entries experience (Desirable)
• Shipping and Freight Forwarding experience
• Seafreight experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
