European Export Operator

Job Summary

Our client, a large Freight Forwarder now seeks to appoint a European Export Operator to be based in their office in Birmingham.

The successful individual will be responsible for arranging and monitoring European shipments from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Manage European Export Freight Forwarding process from start to finish - PTL, FTL & Groupage
• Provide high level of customer service with customers, agents and suppliers
• Process and follow up quotes, negotiating rates with hauliers
• Receive orders and book into system

Requirements:

• Extensive European Road Freight Export experience including Groupage
• Strong Freight Forwarding background
• Excellent European geographical knowledge required
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills
• Commercial awareness
