Alchemy is pleased to be partnering with a leading global law firm in their search for an experienced Global Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced global immigration and mobility team in Washington, DC.

Role
- Assist the global immigration team in providing legal services to a range of Fortune 500 clients
- Work with local counsel network globally to assist with coordinating global immigration matters
- Deliver consular application services to clients, including documentation authorization/legalization and visa application coordination
- Provide advice to clients on local immigration procedures and processes for various locations, including likely timelines for case processing, under Attorney supervision
- Handle tracking and reporting on filing deadlines and visa expiration dates, working in support of multiple attorneys
- Use creative thinking and problem-solving skills to provide business minded and tailored solutions to client’s global immigration requirements
- Work to strict timelines, deadlines and delivery schedules, ensuring a high level of client services at all times
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in global immigration, ideally across multiple global regions (Europe, Middle East and Asia)
- Experience with various corporate global immigration matters including work permits, residence permits and visa processing
- Able to handle a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment, dealing with competing priorities
- Documentation legalization/authentication and consular processing experience required
- Dedicated to delivering top level client services in accordance with SLAs, and able to work with a diverse Fortune 500 client base
- Creative thinker and problem solver, with a passion for learning new areas of the law
- Strong communicator, both written and spoken and able to work professionally across cultures
- High level of initiative and able to anticipate needs of the team you are supporting
