Gallery Sales

Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious candidate with strong sales experience to join a Contemporary Art Gallery in London.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Utilising a network of contacts and clients to promote gallery exhibitions and sales.
• Continue to expand your network by building professional relationships with new clients, whilst maintaining established connections.
• Regularly attend local art gallery events, opening and art fairs.
• Coordinate Gallery PR and Marketing strategies to improve sales.
• Grow the galleries client base and contribute to the growth of and sales within the organisation.

Experience required:

• Previous experience within a similar sales role in a Gallery or Auction House.
• Proven track record of art sales is essential
• Highly organised and ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong network of established contacts within the art industry.
• Passionate with an in-depth knowledge of contemporary art.
• Eager and motivated to create leads and make sales.
