Job Summary

We are partnering with a Transportation company that are looking to hire a Sales Manager to increase their International Airfreight business to/from the USA.

This exciting opportunity will suit a focused sales professional who thrives when working independently and who has a proven track record of selling International Airfreight services.


  • Generating new business leads through cold calling
  • Develop new business in the International Airfreight market
  • Quote and book International Airfreight
  • Drive new business growth, ensuring goals are met
  • Develop partnerships with carries in your local market to present additional supplier options
  • Ensure successful negotiations and business contracting
  • Generate an increase in business from existing customers listed in your portfolio
  • Identify new target customers within defined parameters
  • Research all clients fully prior to visiting, to ensure credit limits are viable, and there is a realistic chance of success
  • Communication with clients in order to qualify prospects
  • Arrange visits and/or follow up
  • Act as a brand ambassador, networking the company name to generate business

Skills Required;

  • Freight Forwarding sales experience
  • Extensive International Airfreight sales experience is essential
  • Proven track record of developing existing and new International Airfreight business
  • Preferably experience developing shipping business on an international scale
  • Ideally have an active book of Airfreight business to immediately generate revenue from
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
