Job Summary

We have an exciting new opening for an experienced Crew Chief based within a Fine Art Shipping company.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Manage and support a team of art handlers, to ensure the highest level of service
• Act as the technical manager, overseeing and assisting with the carrying, loading and unloading artwork, antiques and other arts related high value objects
• Ensure the packing and unpacking of objects is carried out correctly and safely
• Driving to client locations to deliver artwork and schedule trips for team members
• Act as the point of contact for clients and ensure an effective line of communication
• Filling in all required paperwork using the company’s internal systems
• Adhere to all company policies and Health and Safety procedures

Additional skills:

• Previous experience managing a team of art handlers is required  
• A driving license is required for this vacancy  
• Art technician and handling experience
• Strong organization and leadership skills
• Excellent client facing skills
