Job Summary
We are partnering with a leading International Freight Forwarder who is seeking an Import and Export Customer Service Coordinator that has knowledge of Air and Ocean Imports and Exports.
You will be responsible for coordinating all Import and Export shipments and provide excellent customer service to customers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- The main point of contact for all customers
- Coordinate bookings from Importers and overseas offices
- Follow up on all shipments
- Providing quotes for customers
- Handling the pricing of Imports and Exports
- Inform customers of shipment updates
- Work closely with Operations and Warehouse team
- Coordinate with the Customs Broker and follow up customs clearance
- Obtain rates from overseas offices
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as per customer requirements
Skills Required
- Experience in freight forwarding and customer service
- Imports and Exports experience
- Pricing experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Airfreight and Oceanfreight experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- General computer knowledge, Excel, Windows
