Job Summary

Our client, an established organisation based in Aylesbury with an international client base, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the company’s multiple payrolls in a timely and accurate manner. The creation and maintenance of accurate employee payroll records. Wage calculations and applicable deductions based on employee attendance records. Entering payroll information into the central system for processing. Issues employees' wageslips and the running of payroll reports.

Payroll Job Duties:

  • Processes company's multiple payrolls every pay period
  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant legislation
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in attendance and payroll records
  • Ensures confidentiality of employees' pay records
  • Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review

Skills & Experience Required;

  • Experienced managing multiple payrolls is essential
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Computer literate with strong numeracy skills
