Job Summary

An established Freight Forwarder are looking to hire an experienced Customer Service Coordinator, Freight Forwarding to join their office in Essex.

The Customer Service Coordinator’s main aim is to provide high levels of customer service to new and existing clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Regularly communicate with clients via phone, email and face to face meetings, ensuring they receive high levels of customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and answering any queries
  • Work closely with internal teams as needed to ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Ensure SLAs are maintained in line with agreed contract
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Meet and exceed client expectations
  • Regularly update the internal system to ensure client information is kept up to date
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell additional services to clients
  • Manage client queries with regards to invoicing, discussing with the relevant departments

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding is essential
  • Excellent customer service skills is essential
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence to manage clients and answer questions
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise as required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
