IT Service Desk Analyst (part time)

Alchemy is partnering with a global retail brand in their search for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong.

The IT Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing IT support to the business both locally and globally. This is a part time role with varying work hours and a flexible schedule, and will require some travel to the business’s offices and retail locations in Hong Kong.

Role

  • Ensure all IT calls are logged, progressed and resolved in accordance with SLA’s
  • Take ownership of tickets, prioritising as necessary, and manage through to resolution, escalating where required
  • Proactively manage tickets and ensure 1st line support desk is operating smoothly
  • Work with non-technical colleagues and customers, providing remote support as required
  • Support a range of technologies from standard Office and Windows support to Apple, networking, wireless, systems monitoring and beyond

Requirements
  • At least 1 years’ experience as a 1st line service desk engineer/analyst
  • Willing to take on a variety of tasks and be ‘hands on’
  • Experience with desktop support issues including Apple Mac, iOS, Windows 7+, Office 2016+
  • Experience supporting and/or troubleshooting network/Wi-Fi, office moves, deployments builds/images, new user creation and mobile device set up desirable
  • Support knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008 and 2012 server is highly advantageous
  • Experience working in a retail business is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • English, Cantonese and Mandarin langue skills (written and spoken) required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required, and travel within Hong Kong
