Senior Associate, Global Reward & Tax

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a skilled Senior Associate to join our clients Global Reward & Tax division in California.

You’ll join a relatively young Global Reward business function who are breaking the traditional mould and creating a future forward environment.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Associate, Global Reward & Tax

  • Provide global reward, tax, compensation, benefits and HR-related helping to provide knowledge and advice
  • Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice, providing technical support to management
  • Build and manage internal and client relationships
  • Consult on reward and tax technical and operational issues
  • Ensure quality client service delivery and manage teams of tax professionals working on client specific projects
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
  • Manage risk and financial performance by assisting management with compliance, billing, collections and budgeting
  • Project management support, including coordinating work with staff in other departments as needed

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Ability to identify, research and analyze complex tax issues and formulate alternatives with some guidance
  • Helping others to work through tax issues
  • Strong IT skills including MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau or experimentation with other digitization tools
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work on multiple assignments
  • Strong analytical, consultative and project management skills
  • Results oriented with keen attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to articulate complex information
  • Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or possession EA, PMP, CBAP, GPHR, MBA, MS, ASOA, ENR ACT, FSA, CBP, CCP, CEBS, CPP, PHR, SPHR, and, SGMS accreditations
  • Ideally 3 years experience in two or more of the following areas;
    • Total rewards and benefits
    • Global compensation and equity sourcing and taxation
    • Domestic and global employment tax compliance and consulting
    • M&A advisory
    • Executive compensation and compensation integration
    • Corporate taxation
    • ASC 718, ASC 740
    • Share-based compensation delivery and data & analytics
    • Mobility tax compliance and consulting
