Job Summary

A prestigious fine arts company are looking for an experienced Exhibitions Coordinator to join their growing team based in London.
The main responsibilities include:
  • Formulate and finalise independent price estimates for the exhibitions department.
  • Liaise with the team to improve and create stronger and long-lasting relationships with clients globally to gain more business.
  • Produce all quotations to cater for the clients’ needs, meeting their price expectations where possible whilst still adhering to the companies targets.
  • Ensure that quotes are completed and sent out in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with all services and customers to obtain their feedback to enable improvements to be made.
  • Keep track of all estimates and ensure that the internal computer systems are always kept up to date.
  • Report the statistics to Managers and Directors and promote methods of improvement.
  • Liaise with shipping coordinators throughout the process of the shipments to ensure they are meeting the client’s needs.
Key skills required:
  • Experience working in an exhibitions based role within a gallery, auction house or art shipping company is required.
  • Previous art logistics experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills.
  • Must be flexible to travel when necessary.
  • Organised, analytical and have a keen eye for detail.
  • A foreign language would be preferable but not obligatory.
  • A strong decision maker and the ability to troubleshoot.
