Job Summary

Alchemy is partnering with one of our clients in professional services, who is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join their team.

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for multiple internal teams and assignments, while also supporting Directors and Partners with their responsibilities and clients.

Internal Audit Manager Key Duties:

  • Deliver risk management, corporate governance and internal audit assignments
  • Determine audit strategy and risk assessments that will improve profits and delivery of value proposition
  • Review assignment files and reports, and any other documentation as necessary
  • Plan and schedule individual assignments, and staff
  • Manage billing and collection for individual clients
  • Attend committee meetings as necessary
  • Manage department activities and client relationships on a day to day basis, ensuring a high quality of customer service
  • Utilise innovation and creativity to improve audit practices and processes
  • Take part in the recruiting and training processes of employees, including performance management and job appraisals
  • Act as an ambassador for the company and participate in marketing events
  • Discuss findings with clients and obtain their proposed way forward for issues


Skills and Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, MIIA or CCAB qualified with relevant Risk Management, Internal Audit and Systems/Control Testing
  • Educated up to a degree level
  • Previous people management experience
  • Awareness of compliance, legislative and market issues relevant to client businesses
  • Full driving licence with own transport is advantageous
  • Project management experience is desirable
