Job Summary

Our client a successful and established International Removals company are seeking a Trainee International Move Coordinator to join their team.

The Trainee International Move Coordinator will assist the International Move Management Team who coordinate the household goods moving processes for corporate clients through their international relocations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the internal teams and third-party vendors by providing the correct information to provide a high level of service throughout the move
  • Maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers providing high levels of customer services at all times
  • Assisting the team to coordinate the household goods moving process for a portfolio of clients, from initial client call to move completion
  • Liaising with external vendors and other internal departments
  • Assist the Move management team to actively manage moving cases in line with KPI’s, company standards, and specific client account policy guidelines
  • Tracking all relevant relocation documentation, to ensure that other internal departments and third-party vendors receive these on time
  • Help to ensure all household goods shipments are invoiced fully, on time and cover additional charges
  • Assist with responding to client queries and complaints, and identifying areas in need of improvement
  • Using your knowledge to seek the best rates and services from suppliers
  • Updating all systems and records as and when required
  • Maximise profitability while maintaining service standards

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • This role will suit a school or college leaver or recent graduate as full training is provided.
  • An interest in developing a career within the logistics, household goods moving, freight forwarding and/or relocation sectors would be ideal
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • A good understanding of geography and cultures is a bonus
  • Good organisational skills are an asset
  • Ability to work proactively
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A positive, team-focused, 'can-do' attitude
  • Fluency in English is essential, and additional languages are beneficial
  • High-level working proficiency in all Microsoft office programs
