Job Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity with our client, who is an established art organisation in Massachusetts!

They are looking for an experienced, punctual, and driven Warehouse Operative to join their rapidly expanding and specialised team. This position would offer the unique opportunity to handle and operate with rare antiques, valuable art pieces and more!

The perfect candidate will be an excellent communicator and offer flexibility to the role, both in terms of scheduling and task variety, as night and weekend shifts may be required.

Willingness to learn and work independently and self-sufficiency are essential.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and lead warehouse activities, such as handling inbound and outbound collections, packing and disposal of property.
  • Administrative management of shipments from clients and suppliers, while maintaining inventory records and report quality; updating relevant databases.
  • Installation and set-up of auctioned items prior to the auction process or in preparation for customer viewings.
  • Helping with the conduction of auctions from start to finish.



  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in similar roles, ideally involving the handling of artworks and antiques in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Great flexibility and endurance. Willing and able to cover shifts outside of standard working hours.
  • Strong physical ability: lifting up to 80 lbs.
