An exciting new opportunity is around the corner as we are working alongside a well-established commercial removals company, looking for a Business Development Manager to join their removals team based in East London.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of new removal business and maintaining the company’s existing client base. You will be working for a commercial customer focused, growing organisation that will offer training, development, and career progression within the removals industry and where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities of the removals Business Development Manager:

  • Identifying, targeting, and generating business from new removal clients
  • Secure commercial business by understanding each individual clients’ requirements in order to offer the best solution and ensure maximum revenue is generated throughout the removal process
  • Establishing relationships with key decision makers
  • Managing the whole removal sales process from initial client contact through to negotiating and closing of the sale, whilst ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring a consistent pipeline of potential new removal business
  • Overcoming removal client objections and creating a solution
  • Utilise platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Ensuring you track all removal data correctly 

Key requirements:
  • Previous experience in Sales and Business Development across the Removals, Relocation or Global Mobility sectors are required
  • Ideally come from a strong commercial background
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Motivated individual, committed to achieving sales targets
  • Ability to manage the entire sales process
