Job Summary

Alchemy is searching for a skilled Sales and Events Coordinator to join our client a fast-developing Office Furniture, Interiors and Facility services firm based in Chicago, IL.

You will be responsible for creating, promoting, and attending internal and external events for the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with searching and confirming suitable venues for events
  • Coordinate and attend planned meetings
  • Provide support to the Business Development team
  • Responsible for assisting with prospects, target markets, planning and coordination of webinars and events
  • Enjoy a fast paced and fun environments where input is extremely impactful
  • Work closely with the business development and marketing teams to promote business development initiatives
  • Plan virtual and in person events
  • Prepare pre-event such as finding participants and managing vendors
  • Utilise CRM programmes
  • Attend industry events
  • Create client facing sales materials
  • Responsible for promoting events via social media
  • Assist prospect lists for marketing projects

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, communications, marketing, or related field
  • Experience in business development, events, or marketing
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences
  • CRM/ERP systems experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with Event Management software and tools to manage registration & event logistics
