A hospitality provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team based in London.


The Business Development Manager’s main responsibility will be to easily establish, influence, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in global organisations to build sales revenue.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and win new business
  • Manage ongoing business for a dedicated portfolio of client accounts, upselling where possible
  • Follow up with sales leads received from other internal departments
  • Build relationships with existing clients to generate recommendations and new sales leads
  • Set up and attend meetings with decision makers
  • Negotiate rates and agreed terms with clients
  • Drive and increase revenues, focusing on retention and referral activity
  • Create proposals and preferred supplier agreements
  • Produce sales activity reports as and when required
  • Attend networking events in order to bring in new business and build networks with potential clients
  • Increasing revenues of the sales team


Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working in a hospitality role
  • Sales experience essential
  • Must have excellent knowledge of the London area
  • Be ambitious to achieve set targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team and individually with a flexible approach to business
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Business travel will be required
