Job Summary

Our client is a rapidly expanding Transport and Logistic company based in Sydney who have a history of successfully providing premium and cost-effective relocation and storage solutions tailored to the individual customer and commercial needs.

They have earned their reputation as a leading removal & storage business preferred by many in local, interstate, and storage moves and have expanded rapidly into the commercial field working with a number of event companies, Interior designers, property stylists and commercial fit out companies. They already have a number of new contracts on the horizon which will take the organization to the next level.

About the Role:

Your busy day will include quoting new customers on local and interstate moves up selling storage and other products. We are looking for somebody with Business Development experience to establish new relationships and establish new commercial account clients.

Daily sales targets & meeting KPI's are key to ensure the company hit their sales and growth targets.

The office is fun and very fast paced and always changing! Everyday is different with lots of challenges. On offer is a motivating and busy environment, with product training provided.

The client is expanding their already growing commercial client base and looking for a business development, sales professional to help grow the commercial side of the business.

Your Profile:

Minimum two years experience in similar result driven sales role

Extensive relationship building skills to generate opportunities

Experienced user of Sales CRM systems

Excellent time management skills

Strong team player with the ability to take ownership of their role.

Solid experience in sales is expected; experience in transport / logistics industry is well regarded but also not necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop new business opportunities

Meet weekly / monthly sales targets & KPI's

Manage a close working relationship between sales and operation teams

Manager personal CRM system and the initiative to succeed autonomously.

Strong attention to detail

Reporting to the Sales Manager

Customer service skills to be able to build trusting relationships.

You have strong verbal communication skills with a proven track record in delivering results.

With your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to convert leads to bookings and create good relationships with customers ensuring repeat business and customer referrals.
