Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Global Mobility & International Assignments professional to join our client as Global Mobility Consulting Manager.


This role will supervise all global mobility and other assignment-related issues and will suit an experienced International HR professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Support new and existing clients by providing policy development and processes for global mobility and generate advisory projects based on the client’s business
  • Provide quality client service delivery across all global mobility and international assignments functions
  • Delivering advisory and consulting services across all global mobility and expatriate management functions
  • Manage overall outsourcing engagements and client relationships, including the supervision of staff supporting engagements and coordination of international mobility related services
  • Track expatriate payroll, compensation, and benefits, and manage payroll processes including payroll instructions, shadow payroll process, and analyze
  • Deliver training sessions based on trends within the expatriate program management both internally and externally, to help develop the Global Mobility Tax team members
  • Provide or oversee services prior to the assignment, during the assignment and during repatriation/localization
  • Prepare cost analysis, global mobility vendor coordination, relocation orientations, letters of understanding and assignment balance sheets
  • Carry out expatriate management training and communications for staff, clients, business leaders, and assignees, and manage engagement financials
  • Maintain and manage client relationships including the coordination of services and supervising staff supporting engagements and provide integrated support of the full scope international mobility services

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working in the Expatriate Management, Global Mobility, International HR, Compensation and Expat Tax sector
  • Knowledgeable on areas such as; international payroll and delivery, expatriate benefits, immigration and expatriate compensation
  • Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Staff management and supervisory skills with the ability coach and mentor
  • Previous HR experience such as carrying out client pre-departure orientation and repatriation meetings
  • Ability to review balance sheets and cost projections for international assignments and relocations
  • Expatriate taxation knowledge would be advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
