Job Summary

Alchemy is excited to be partnering with a major Commercial Removals organisation to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team based in Manchester. This role involves a mix of working in the office and commercial moving field sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing sources such as LinkedIn to generate new business leads for the company.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to implement an effective business plan, which includes but is not limited to; prospecting, opportunity generation, networking, visiting and maintaining relationships with new and potential customers; presentations, and follow up through the whole removals process.
  • Playing a key role in devising new business sales strategies, seeking out new projects and contract customers.
  • Responsible for delivering revenue targets for new business in line with company strategy
  • Responsible for optimising market share performance
  • Working closely with the company Directors and Sales staff based in other offices, including London.

Requirements:

  • Previous telemarketing and field sales experience, preferably from commercial moving, fit out, facilities or records management is desirable. Enthusiastic candidates without experience will also be considered.
  • Must be an enthusiastic advocate for the company, actively promoting removals services
  • Able to confidently participate in sales pitches, effectively presenting all removals services offered by the company
  • Being proactive in identifying new business opportunities
  • Remaining abreast of the removals market and actively monitoring competitors to ensure optimal market position for the company
