Job Summary

Alchemy is partnering with a top provider of Removals and Moving services to search for a Business Development Executive to join their team based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for the company and expanding the client network.

Main aspects of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside the Head of Sales to identify, establish and follow up on potential new client leads to expand the company's client and business network
  • Developing a good understanding of target organisations and relocation projects via social media research and cold calling
  • Playing a leading role in marketing campaigns for the company
  • Regularly arranging appointments for field based sales staff to meet prospective new clients and develop new business.
  • Ensuring the company database remains up to date and accurate at all times


  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to close leads and business calls.
  • IT literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Strong team player
