Job Summary

A leading provider of fine art storage services is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their team based in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company to professionals in fine art and fashion, while identifying opportunities for new business.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Developing proposals, concepts and business initiatives to assist in business expansion.
  • Seeking new business and sales leads, establishing a strong database of leads and customers.
  • Leasing storage space to a wide range of art world and fashion professionals including galleries, museums, foundations and fashion houses.
  • Working collaboratively alongside sales colleagues to implement outreach efforts.
  • Liaising with the internal marketing team to produce and implement sales and marketing initiatives.

Desirable skills:

  • Proven sales experience is essential, ideally within an art shipping or gallery environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with interacting with clients.
  • Genuine interest in networking and sales.
  • Motivated and result driven.
  • Self-starter.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
