Job Summary

A large Freight Forwarder is looking for an Export Customer Service Coordinator to join their team in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all export shipments
  • Handle bookings for export consolidation and transport collections
  • Understanding of operational requirements relating to Ocean Export
  • Good communication and customer service skills in ensuring customers are kept informed and satisfied with the service offered
  • Liaise with clients on the phone regarding export bookings
  • Full understanding of Industry Standard Documentation
  • Ensure that all jobs are completed on time and to the expected costs agreed
  • To ensure all export documentation is issued in accordance to customers instructions.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding within the Freight forwarding industry
  • Competent with general freight forwarding requirements and procedures relating to Ocean exports
  • Knowledge of Export operations
