Immigration Manager

An Immigration Manager is required to join our client in Singapore.

This role serves as the Immigration subject matter expert and will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Visa & Immigration team.

You must be able to build and establish strong relationships with clients and suppliers, using your in depth knowledge of Visa and Immigration policies and procedures.

Duties include;

  • Providing professional, accurate Immigration and Visa advice and assistance to clients
  • Lead a team of Immigration Consultants by overseeing day to day operations, providing staff training and offering mentorship
  • Ensuring a quality service is provided to clients at all times by overseeing the workload of the Immigration Consultants and Visa Administrators
  • Ensuring all quality surveys are completed in line with company procedures and submitted on time to the appropriate departments
  • Supporting and encouraging Immigration Consultants to share Immigration and Visa knowledge across the teams
  • Providing ongoing support and training to the Immigration department as required
  • Providing subject matter expert knowledge on Visa and Immigration policies, offering support and knowledge to regional teams when necessary
  • Organise the collation and distribution of Immigration and Visa updates/alerts are sent to clients within 24 hours of announcement
  • Regularly review survey report submitted by Immigration Consultants and ensure company targets are achieved
  • Ensuring risk management procedures are adhered to and carry out spot checks of data to ensure accuracy
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with vendors
  • Management support to ensure achievement of KPI's
  • Assisting with financial management when necessary

Requirements;

  • Ideally 5 years' experience in professional Visa and Immigration services at a management level
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of immigration and visa policies and current legislation for relevant jurisdictions
  • Awareness of the sensitivity of immigration and visa work, acting in a professional manner at all times
  • Strong staff management and leadership experience
  • Proven ability to build and establish relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong attention to detail
