Our Client a specialist provider of Corporate Housing is seeking a Global Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing new corporate housing business or hospitality business and is highly motivated to succeed.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing these opportunities into new accounts. Networking within industry organizations to build relationships with corporate contacts to sell the benefits of partnering with our client as a supplier for their organizations. You will take a strategic approach in building new business focusing on researching and qualifying prospective key accounts and key decision makers.

This position will be home based so it is imperative that you are a self-starter with the ability to achieve results in an autonomous environment.

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and generating interest from potential clients. It will then be your responsibility to build an account plan specific to each business opportunity and track and report all progress on a weekly basis. Strategic planning is a key part of this position as the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing a pipeline of new business opportunities. This requires knowledge of each prospects needs and how our Client can provide solutions that will create a strong partnership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our Client is looking for a personable, energetic, highly motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed. You have proven networking skills and do not get discouraged easily. You have a knack for networking, persuasion, research, proposals, strategic planning and strong closing abilities.

Additional requirements of the Global Business Development Executive role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • Prior business development experience aggregating new accounts without an existing relationship.
  • Experience developing new prospects and turning them into accounts.
  • Strong closing skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a home office environment.
