Our client, a Global Moving company, has a new and exciting position available for an International Move Coordinator.

This is a remote working/home based position !

The ideal candidate will have years of experience working in the relocation and moving sector, with experience quoting and coordinating corporate household goods moves.

The International Move Coordinator will ensure that clients receive excellent customer service and a smooth relocation process and will serve as the direct contact for the customer and/or agent.


  • Coordinate door to door household goods relocation process for corporate household goods moves
  • Carry out introductory calls with clients and maintain contact through the move process to ensure client is kept up to date
  • Booking & Service order number generation
  • Generate all documentation required via RedSky system
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to requests from accounts, agents and clients to maintain strong relationships with all parties
  • Coordinate bookings with all relevant third-party vendors (trucking, air forwarders, shipping lines, agents, brokers etc) to ensure a smooth and professional move process for client
  • Generate quotes for corporate household goods moves, including ocean and air freight
  • Receive and process all bookings from International Relocation Sales teams and verify that the agent/vendor data is available for shipment initiation and setup
  • Arrange bookings with third party services (freight forwarders, brokers, agents, truckers, etc.)
  • Perform estimated cost projections within 2 days of receiving survey results to calculate the estimated projected revenue and expenses
  • Review and analyse vendor invoices that exceed 10% variation from the accruals to determine if the payment is outside the accrual is warranted
  • Generate and upload required documentation to the client's system for visibility across all divisions
  • Perform revised cost comparison projects upon receiving the receipt of the actual weight/cube
  • Upsell available insurance on each household goods shipment to generate more business, and generate relevant certificates upon purchase
  • Ensure that the client's system is updated with all relevant shipping and routing info
  • Work within the MATT rate system to generate rate responses via "proxy" use and coordinate any resulting bookings


  • Experience within international household goods moving (5+ years is ideal)
  • Experience quoting and coordinating corporate household goods moves
  • Knowledge and understanding of FIDI/FAIM and ISO policies for International Forwarders
  • Experience using RedSky software is a strongly preferred
  • Confident in using Microsoft package (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking
  • A professional demeanour with strong business etiquette
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Passionate in providing outstanding customer service
