Responsibilities for the Moving Operations Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Strategically plan your labour allocations and equipment usage to achieve your transportation and production objectives.
- Collaborate with vendors, managers, employees, and clients to exchange information and solve issues.
- Provide workers with instructions on transportation and related services, like material handling and storage.
- Respect safety protocols in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Create and implement strategies to raise staff morale, enhance workflow, improve equipment performance, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the necessary vehicle inspections are conducted, oversee repairs, and schedule preventative maintenance
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Five or more years of managerial experience in the storage and moving sector.
- Ability to work as a team, prioritize tasks, and multitask.
